LWF Agrees with Rwanga Foundation and CAPNI

Duhok, Kurdistan Region of Iraq – May 12th – Lutheran World Federation Iraq Service have signed a consortium with Rwanga Foundation and CAPNI to carry on first of kind Business Recovery Services and Funds in the region.

He added’’With seed funding of Kerk in Actie (KiA) and technical support of Truvalu Group Ltd. The program aims to support at least 15 business within different sectors in Duhok province.’’

 

the concept of BRS&Fund consists of a tailor-made package of a loan, business development support, and technical assistance to the companies’ management, as well as Technical & Vocational Training to its current and new employees/workers. The concept also integrates the approach developed by Kerk in Actie for repairing the social fabric of communities called Shared Futures as follows: By bringing entrepreneurs and employees from among refugees, displaced and residents and with different religious, ethnic, social, economic, gender and ability backgrounds together in an economic activity, BRS&F contributes to social cohesion at the personal, interpersonal and community levels.

 

This consortium will have Rwanga Foundation as the social actor of the project and CAPNI as the TVET holder as well as an interim loan management entity for BRS&F.
